Fully Restored 19th Century Mills
Meadow Mill and Mt. Washington Mill were among Himmelrich’s earliest adaptive-reuse projects—two former cotton mills reimagined into active retail and office hubs. Today, they’re home to national brands like Whole Foods, PNC Bank, and Starbucks, plus beloved local businesses including Stone Mill Bakery and La Cuchara. Following the mill transformations, Himmelrich Associates took on the ambitious restoration of the Montgomery Ward Catalog House—revitalizing more than 1.3 million square feet of historic industrial architecture into the Montgomery Park Business Center.
